TRIPLAN AG (ISIN: DE 0007499303) from 29.05.2008 takes over the engineering company „Planungsbüro Burkart AG“ whose head office is in Switzerland and „Planungsbüro Burkart GmbH“ which has two sites in Germany. With this purchase TRIPLAN expands its traditional plant construction expertise in chemicals, biotechnology and life sciences which the company already successfully applies and also adds to its existing spectrum of services in power plant and nuclear plant construction. The expansion enables TRIPLAN AG to design production plants including site-related energy supply. By this acquisition TRIPLAN AG considerably improves its market position and its entrance on the scene as an integrated engineering services provider also significantly enhances its competitive advantages.

„Planungsbüro Burkart AG“ has been in existence for over 30 years and currently has 40 employees at sites in Schindellegi, Switzerland and Lörrach and Burgkirchen, Germany. The „Planungsbüro Burkart Group“ generates sales of around four million Euros and turns a profit. The fixed share of the purchase price comes to one million Euros which is complemented by a results-dependent component over a period of 3 years.
