TRIPLAN acquires competitor by an asset deal

TRIPLAN AG, the engineering services provider from Bad Soden am Taunus, has acquired the operational business of IMA Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH as part of an asset deal. The transaction represents the first step in the context of TRIPLAN AG’s effort to expand its engineering business area. It was agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. The transaction is also subject to the agreement of the TRIPLAN supervisory board.

IMA Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH is a company with a 30 year successful market history. Its sites in North Rhine Westphalia and longstanding customer relationships with leading chemical companies will complement and expand TRIPLAN AGs market penetration. IMA Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH’s around 100 employees are highly trained and complement the expertise of TRIPLAN AG. The synergies mentioned from the asset deal will have a positive effect on the sales and results of TRIPLAN AG and enable it to assume a leading role in the engineering market.

The proprietor and managing director of IMA Ingenieurgesellschaft GmbH, Gerhard May, will enhance TRIPLAN AG’s leading position in future. Mr May will apply his expertise and recognised sector knowledge to drive through the continued expansion of the engineering division.
