TRIPLAN consolidates market position by acquiring a competitor

TRIPLAN AG, the Bad Soden am Taunus engineering services provider has taken over ItDL GmbH.

ItDL GmbH is a Karlsruhe engineering company with more than 30 years sector expertise in the petrochemical industry. Huge growth rates are expected in this area in the next few years as current refinery bottlenecks will require major capital investment to expand capacity. ItDL GmbH’s 16 highly qualified employees are an ideal complement to the existing TRIPLAN AG employee pool in this important future market. ItDL GmbH, like TRIPLAN AG, has a streamlined medium-sized company structure and a high capacity for flexibility. These qualities allow TRIPLAN AG to offer customer-oriented petrochemical services all over Germany.

TRIPLAN AG is pleased that the former owner and managing director of ItDL GmbH, Mr Post, will continue to be available to the company with his longstanding specialist knowledge and sector expertise. It has been agreed to keep the purchase price secret.

Because of these transactions in the current year, the management board of TRIPLAN AG is expecting total output of around EUR 26.0 m (previous year: EUR 24.3 m) with a slightly negative EBIT of EUR -0.2 m which would mean an improvement of around EUR 1.5 m compared to the same period the previous year.
