TRIPLAN AG: Total output slightly above previous year’s level

TRIPLAN AG reports interim quarterly data for the third quarter as at 30.06.03. Total output in the first half year of 2003 rose slightly to 16.5 m EUR (previous year: 16.3 m EUR). During this period, EBITDA registered EUR 0.129 m (previous year: EUR - 0.321 m) and EBIT of EUR - 0.868 m (previous year: EUR - 1.177 m).

The fall in total output in the second quarter was almost fully compensated for by considerable cost reductions. This restricted the fall in EBITDA compared to the first quarter of 2003 (from 0.256 m EUR as at 31.03 to 0.129 m EUR as at 30.06 2003). Personnel costs in particular fell compared to the previous year to around 1 m EUR. The industry’s still restrictive investment behaviour requires a continued active cost management.
