TRIPLAN AG Convinces Investors With Powerful Growth

TRIPLAN AG has achieved sales of EUR 7.729 million in the first quarter, which reflects an increase of 26% year-on-year. This has underlined TRIPLAN AG’s position as a leading service provider in the Industrial Engineering segment.

The company is a leading provider of services in the area of Engineering and IT services for renowned companies in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical, biotech and automotive sectors . The Engineering Services, Technology Services and Shared Services divisions are focused on plant and factory planning.

Even more impressive than the growth in sales is the development of profits. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax and depreciation of assets) for the company, which is traded on the SMAX stock exchange, improved over-proportionately by 130% to EUR 643,000 (Q1 previous year: EUR 280,000). 280 TEUR). In terms of its EBIT, TRIPLAN even achieved an increase of 250% to EUR 451,000 (EUR 129,000).

The decisive factor in this disproportionately positive development was extension of the customer portfolio and the new direction taken by the sales organization. Developments were particularly positive in the two core business fields, Technology Services and Engineering Services. Both areas attained revenue growth of around 26%, despite the cooler climate in the sector as a whole. The Shared Services business area saw a significant improvement in the technological position of web-based services and Application Service Providing. The successful pilot unveiled at CeBIT 2001 lead to direct demand from renowned companies, especially from the supplier sector.

Demand for TRIPLAN’s tools and services from multinational companies was also pleasing. In the USA, one of the leading engineering companies in the automotive sector was equipped with TRIPLAN/CADISON software tools.

The company anticipates it will attain the announced growth levels in its full revenue figures. At the flotation on 29 March 2001, forecasts were for annual sales of EUR 34.9 m and an EBIT of EUR 2.6 m for 2001.
