IT division costs fall

TRIPLAN AG, which is listed on the SMAX, reports half year sales of 16.3 m (previous year: 15.7 m Euros), a jump of 3.4% compared to the previous year. EBIT also fell to minus 1.177 Tsd. Euros (592 Tsd. Euros). The cost-reduction measures introduced have already partially effected the results compared to the first quarter of 2002.

In the Engineering Services division segment sales rose sharply by 12.9 % to 12.5 m Euros, while as a result of the continuing downturn sales in the Technology Services (IT-division) division fell 17.7 % to 3.7 m Euros. On the cost side personnel, material and other costs fell over-proportionately thus putting a brake on the negative results trend in the Technology Services division.
