TRIPLAN IT-GmbH founded

TRIPLAN AG, which is listed on the SMAX, has set up TRIPLAN IT-GmbH to strengthen its position in the market. TRIPLAN AG’s IT operations will be integrated into the new company on 1 October 2002. The next step will be to integrate CADISON Software GmbH, which was acquired before hours in 2000, into TRIPLAN IT GmbH.

Dr. Volker Schlüter, TRIPLAN AG management board: “We’re hoping that this bundling of sales activities will mean a significantly improved market presence.”

The cost-reduction measures carried out this year have already led to a significant improvement in the cost basis of the IT division. In addition to a restructuring of employees the Hofheim-Wallau and Friedrichshof/Ts sites were closed at the beginning of 2002 and in August respectively. The staff at these sites were transferred to the company’s head office in Bad Soden.

TRIPLAN AG’s management board will be supplemented on 01 October 2002 by a new IT management board.

TRIPLAN is a leading provider of services in the area of Engineering and IT services for renowned companies in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical, biotech and automotive sectors. The Engineering Services, Technology Services and Shared Services divisions are focused on plant and factory planning. The array of services and products offered by TRIPLAN ranges from engineering through in-house developed multi-sector software applications for factory planning to web-based services for management of large quantities of data.
