Agreement until the end of 2005/Outsourcing of CAD services
TRIPLAN provides engineering and CAD services for DFCA in Linz

The engineering and IT provider TRIPLAN AG, Bad Soden, has concluded a service agreement with DSM Fine Chemicals Austria (DFCA).

In conjunction with this order, TRIPLAN provides a defined set of engineering services, operating from offices in the Chemiepark Linz chemicals park. Among other things this means preparing and updating CAD drawings (particularly layout plans, process and R&I flowcharts) and 3D engineering designs. TRIPLAN employees generate the associated isometrics from CAD models with parts lists and comprehensive components lists for purchase. The service agreement also includes care and maintenance of the underlying DFCA database.

TRIPLAN will continually keep on call staff for current operations and if need be send required specialist staff to work on projects. Coordination is provided by the TRIPLAN Burghausen branch. The agreement lasts until the end of 2005.

The DFCA (part of the Dutch chemical group DSM N.V.) is a supplier with worldwide operations of standard intermediates and highly-developed fine chemicals for the life sciences industry (pharmaceuticals, agriculture and food). DFCA Austria operates a production plant for this in the “Linz chemicals park”.
