Alfa Laval Process Technology division invests over 100,000 € in CADISON plant design software:
Alfa Laval is expanding worldwide implementation of CADISON plant design software

ITandFactory GmbH, a TRIPLAN Group company, announced today that Alfa Laval, a leading provider of specialised products and engineering solutions, continued the expansion of its worldwide implementation of CADISON plant design solutions with the purchase of software and services totalling more than 100,000 €.
Alfa Laval has already been working with this plant design software since 2001. The CADISON solutions help the company improve its planning process and 3D design and streamline its workflow - from conceptual design and detail design to reporting and purchase – by a central engineering database, thus reducing total processing cost. The most recent contracts include the rollout of more ITandFactory CADISON software solutions to complement existing installations.
"As a company with worldwide operations with several local partners and suppliers, Alfa Laval was looking for an efficient, open and compatible CAD/database tool. CADISON, which is based on AutoCAD, provides all the tools we need in plant design,” says Henrik Hjelmsmark, vice president of Alfa Laval Engineering & Supply division.
