TRIPLAN publishes 2003 annual figures based on the audited annual report

TRIPLAN AG announces the following figures based on the audited annual report:
TRIPLAN AG, an engineering and solutions provider in plant construction and building technology gives its total output in 2003 (according to IAS) as 30.1 m EUR (2002: 35.6 m EUR). Total output in the fourth quarter 2003 was 6.6 m EUR (2002: 10.1 m EUR). EBITDA improved to minus 0.339 m EUR (2002: - 0.904 m EUR) and EBIT was reduced to minus 2.4 m EUR (2002: - 3.1 m EUR).

The 5.6 m EUR write-off of NORD / LB led to results for the period of 2.7 m EUR. The write-off is associated with an earn-out provision.
Market softening made the fall in sales steeper than expected. The announced cost-reduction measures and consolidation of the IT division were to a large extent completed and the focus on direct sales implemented.

For the current year, 2004, TRIPLAN AG plans to consolidate its company goals by optimising and reorganising the engineering division, improving sales, cooperation and marketing operations in both divisions, increasing market presence and with a broader market realignment.

The company will also focus on cost management.
