Plant design software with scalable EDM
PIPE series version 5 /look & feel based on AutoCAD 2005
Bad Soden, 14 June 2004.
A variety of users from different sectors use the 2D/3D PIPE software from ITandFactory, Bad Soden.
The new version 5 becomes available from 30 June.
What is new? What is different?
How does it help the user?
- Approval for AutoCAD 2005:
The PIPE series is therefore the first plant design package running with AutoCAD 2005. All new AutoCAD 2005 features can be used. - New scalable EDM system integrated:
DATAPIPE has been replaced by TRIBASE – this makes revisions and linking any project documents, including user administration, possible. TRIBASE can be expanded to lifecycle data management. - More comfortable to use:
All PIPE commands can be called up using AutoCad toolbars which makes its own toolbar redundant. This gives PIPE the look and feel of AutoCAD. - New tool for 2D block administration:
A new function allows the user to administer 2D blocks in a variety of views connected with the nominal width and comfortably place them in the drawing.
To make the upgrade to the current version more attractive, ITandFactory has linked interesting packages with the AutoCAD 2005 update and NavisWorks, the solution for the 3D test design.
