Automobile manufacturer orders CAD tools and engineering services in a factory design bundle: The automobile industry profits from efficient 3D models

ITandFactory GmbH, a TRIPLAN Group company, will implement the CAD/CAE factory design Tricad MS software at the Dingolfing BMW automobile production site. This means an expansion of the 3D software already used at a number of this manufacturer’s sites to design all relevant building technology trades.

In factory design the automobile industry uses tools with enhanced efficiency to prepare 3D models to significantly reduce design times, design costs and especially production start-up times for new factories.

The engineering services of TRIPLAN AG have also won service orders. Engineers at the TRIPLAN Burghausen branch will implement two 3D design projects within a space of around three months and work in building technology, materials-handling technology and stage technology/structural steel engineering with Tricad modules.

This combined software and service order shows once again the specific strengths of TRIPLAN as an engineer and IT specialist.
