Generational change in the TRIPLAN AG board

Reinhard Meier (born 1937), founder of the company and most recently board spokesman of TRIPLAN AG, has, as planned, ended his contract which ran until 31 March 2006. The TRIPLAN AG supervisory board has appointed Walter Nehrbaß (born 1953) as his successor to the position of engineering board member. “As a longstanding TRIPLAN AG employee I am pleased to be given the responsibility of running the company,” said Nehrass.
Walter Nehrbaß, who was most recently a successful Karlsruhe branch manager and petrochemical competence centre manager for TRIPLAN AG has taken over from the 69 year old Meier.

In close cooperation with the supervisory board and his board colleague Heinz Braun (born 1948), who has headed the finance and IT divisions since 1.1.2006, Walter Nehrbaß will be committed to reaching company goals“, says Dr.-Ing. Joachim Hohmann, head of the TRIPLAN AG supervisory board.

TRIPLAN AG, which was founded by Reinhard Meier in 1967, was listed on the stock market in 2001 and is currently listed in the prime standard. Meier has been particularly successful in his work for the company during difficult times. Consequently, he returned to the board in 2004 and put the finances of the company, which had run into difficulties, in order. He streamlined the organisational structure and implemented three capital adjustments with great commitment and commercial foresight. The infusion of capital guaranteed the continued existence of TRIPLAN AG and set the course for future growth.

Reinhard Meier will follow the progress of the company’s operations and future commercial development attentively and also provide consultancy support to the management.
The supervisory board thanks Reinhard Meier on the company's behalf for his contribution in restructuring the company and wishes the two new board members every success in the continued implementation of company goals.
