TREVIS Ingenieure AG, Basel, takes over business operations
Network offers special engineering services
TRIPLAN AG has a 51 % stake

Trevis Ingenieure AG, Basel, which was founded in July, specifies its area of operations. According to this specification, Trevis provides specialised engineering services with a focus on process engineering, security, economic analysis, environmental protection and approval management. The service portfolio will be rounded off by advisory services in the aforementioned areas according to the chairman of the board and managing director Claude Kuhn. Kuhn can look back on longstanding engineering experience: He worked for Ciba-Geigy AG (now Novartis AG) for 17 years in a variety of managerial positions And was then for seven years managing director of Weyer und Partner (Schweiz) AG whose head office is in Basel.
A particular feature of the company is that Trevis works with a small core team that, according to need and depending on the project, has access to a network of independent specialists. These are mainly process engineers and scientists who have proven expertise in the areas of processes, security and the environment and bring experience in a variety of sectors and corporate fields. Hence new teams are continually being created depending on the project and scope of the order – a sort of “virtual” company.
Trevis specialists are not least recruited from the 400 employees of TRIPLAN AG. The Bad Soden engineering services provider has a 51% stake in Trevis.

The competence network, which has a broad reach, allows us to put together experienced project teams to solve complex interdisciplinary problems,“ says Walter Nehrbass, CEO of the TRIPLAN Group.
