TRIPLAN AG strengthens its internal network and gains new markets
Stromberger and Burkart appointed directors

Bad Soden, 10. May 2009:
To enhance its national and international market operations and support cooperation within the group of companies, the management and supervisory boards have decided to appoint Peter Burkart as technical director of Triplan Ingenieur AG and Peter Stromberger as director of Triplan Engineerings Deutschland.

Peter Stromberger is a mechanical engineer with longstanding international process industry experience in engineering and project management. Since 2005 he has been manager of Triplan’s Leverkusen branch and of the Chemicals/general plant construction sector centre. He will continue to carry out these functions in the future. In his new job as Director of Engineering Deutschland he will expand overall scheduling in the chemicals, refinery and petrochemicals sectors and continue to pursue the company’s international course.

Dipl.-Ing. Peter Burkart started his own consultancy in 1977, which he sold to Triplan AG in 2008. Since then he has distinguished himself as CEO of Planungsbüros Burkart AG in Switzerland and has run Planungsbüro Burkart GmbH in Lörrach. In addition to these tasks, as technical director of Triplan Ingenieur AG Schweiz, Burkart will open up new markets like conventional and nuclear technology.

In March 2009 Triplan published figures for 2008, according to which group sales grew by +6.6 % to 47.0 million Euro and EBIT by +10.3 % to 2.9 million Euro.
