TRIPLAN AG: Cooperation with the Indian company Neilsoft Ltd.
Engineering expertise for India
Bad Soden, 29. May 2009:
Triplan, Bad Soden, and Neilsoft, Pune (India), have concluded a partnership agreement in the engineering area with the aim of working together on plant design projects in the chemicals, life sciences, petrochemicals and oil & gas segments for clients in India. Neilsoft will support clients on-site, while Triplan will contribute its over 40 years concentrated, sector-specific know-how in designing and implementing design projects. New and unusual for this market is the fact that the neutral and independent design is completely according to the client’s instructions rather than a turn-key plant.
Indian industrial companies will thus be able to benefit from the longstanding experience of Triplan engineers in all process industry fields. And European groups with operations in India can rely on intensive on-site support for their projects.
With around 500 employees, the Triplan Group, which specialises in engineering services, offers services for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, from on-site operational support to comprehensive general contractor projects. The company is decentralised into twelve sites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Neilsoft, with a comparable business model to Triplan and around 700 employees, offers on sites in India, the US, Asia and Europe, comprehensive engineering services and sector-adapted software solutions for the industry and technical building services as well as for automotive and marine sector clients.
The two companies have had close contacts since May 2007 through their joint subsidiary ITandFactory GmbH (Neilsoft: 60%, Triplan: 40%). ITandFactory primarily develops software tools for plant design. Its core product is the engineering tool Cadison.
